Lead tent installer | Full-time

Will be responsible for managing a Field Crew Team in the delivering, setting, and striking of tented events on sites throughout the city, state, and our five-state region. Specific duties include overseeing a designated team to properly and safely deliver, stake, and set our inventory of tents to the proper specifications, as well as safely and efficiently strike said structures. The Lead Tent Installer will also be responsible for transporting and configuring rental inventory while strictly adhering to CAD renderings, assisting the Warehouse Team with loading/unloading trucks in preparation for event setup/delivery and following event strike, and providing delivery/pickup services to the proper event locations throughout our service territory. The Lead Tent Installer will work closely with our Logistics Manager, our Warehouse Manager, and our Sales Team to see events through from a successful setup to an efficient and tidy strike. 

DUTIES

Including but not limited to:

  • Manage a team to deliver and set frame, tension, sailcloth, and Clearspan tents. (On-the-job training will be provided for qualified candidates)
  • Transport and load rental inventory both manually and through the use of small machinery, including pallet jacks, dolly carts, fork lifts, Avant loaders, etc. 
  • Set and configure rental inventory/furniture while strictly adhering to CAD renderings
  • Deliver and Pickup rental orders to their proper event locations throughout our five-state service territory

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be available to work some weekends and evenings. This position would require the ability to travel overnight/multiple days, on occasion
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a desire to learn
  • Solid customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers while on a job and in the field
  • A working knowledge of computers and technology is necessary (iPad & cell phone)
  • Basic understanding of tools and how to use them is required. Prior knowledge of simple electrical is a plus
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Must possess a driver's license; ability to obtain a DOT Health Card is a plus, but not required (This is not a CDL)
  • Experience driving a fork lift or other small machinery is preferred, but not required. (On-the-job training available for those that qualify)
  • Experience with driving trailers and/or a box truck is a plus, but not required. (On-the-job training available for those that qualify)
  • Punctuality and reliability are imperative
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation to get to work and/or job sites, as needed
  • Must possess a cell phone and/or a reliable form of quick communication
  • Must maintain a clean and presentable appearance
  • CANDIDATES MUST PASS A DRUG SCREEN
