Will be responsible for preparing rental orders for customer pickup and delivery, as well as receiving returns and unloading trucks following events. Specific duties will include overseeing the rental order calendar on a weekly basis, accurately pulling, preparing, and cleaning outgoing orders each week, assisting customers with loading rental inventory into vehicles, and aiding the Field Crew with loading Ideal trucks/trailers for delivery orders. The Warehouse Team Member will also be responsible for receiving and unloading rental returns, inspecting returns for loss or damage, and for triaging, cleaning, and re-shelving all returned items to ensure their proper placement back in the warehouse. The Warehouse Team Member will work closely with our Logistics Manager and our Quality Control Manager to ensure rental orders are pulled properly and in a timely manner. This is a Part-Time position with the opportunity to develop into a Full-Time position for the right candidate. 

DUTIES

Including but not limited to:

  • Prepare rental orders for in-store pickup and delivery
  • Oversee the rental order calendar to ensure all orders are pulled in a timely manner and to troubleshoot any logistical or inventory issues before they occur
  • Assist customers with loading and unloading rental inventory from vehicles
  • Aid Field Crew with loading and unloading Ideal trucks/trailers for event delivery and pickup
  • Triage rental returns through inspecting for loss/damage, properly cleaning inventory as required, and restocking/reshelving rentals to their proper location
  • Maintain a tidy and well-organized warehouse through deliberate and on-going upkeep
  • Occasionally provide delivery and/or pickup services for small rental orders, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 16-20 hours/week; weekdays with some evenings and Saturdays
  • Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail are imperative
  • Possesses a strong work ethic and a desire to learn
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Solid customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
  • A basic knowledge and understanding of computers and technology is necessary
  • Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
  • Must possess a driver's license; ability to obtain a DOT Health Card is a plus, but not required
  • Experience driving a fork lift OR the ability to learn is necessary for the position. (On-the-job training available for those that qualify)
  • Experience with driving trailers and/or a box truck is a plus, but not required. (On-the-job training available for those that qualify)
  • Punctuality and reliability are imperative
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation to get to work and/or job sites, as needed
  • Must possess a cell phone and/or a reliable form of quick communication
  • Must maintain a clean and presentable appearance
